She wanted to tell you herself. Mary — our big sister, our formulator, our visionary, the reason any of this exists — recorded a message from our Rose Cottage in Beverly on the South Side of Chicago. She wanted you to hear it directly from her, in her own words, in her own voice.

People tell us all the time not to take it personally.

That's never what this has been for us. Mary said it better than we ever could: this business has always been a way for us to engage with the world in a positive and loving fashion. Your cards, your flowers, your books, your messages — and yes, all those orders — carried her through something we wouldn't wish on anyone.

She's back. She's grateful. And she's wishing you phenomenally good health.
